Hi guys, my name is Tony Orcutt and I am a realism artist based out of San Antonio, Texas who specializes in Horror Art, Fan Art, and Personal Portraits or honestly any kind of drawing you want me to draw lol.  I was born in Houston but moved here around 2011.  I have been drawing now for the last 2 years and before that my talent sort of laid dormant.  I did always liked to draw growing up, but I never had any real ambition for drawing until a couple years ago.  I began pushing myself and soul searching in alot of ways I never had before and I landed back on drawing again.

I did a lot of reading and deciding on what I wanted out of life during that time.  I read up on realism artists I admired and also watched some of their lessons on Youtube as a way to get myself started again.  My mind was more of a sponge than ever this time really.  When I picked up a pencil again and began playing around drawing realistic images using graphite pencils and eventually combining that with the charcoal pencil medium, I actually shocked myself with how much I was able to accomplish in such a short time.  Within a couple of months I did my Avengers and my Shining drawings which convinced me there and then that I had found my passion in life and being an artist was what I was meant to be.  It meant taking a huge leap of faith but I figured you can fail at what you don't want so you might as well go after what you do.

So far in the short amount of time I have been doing my drawings, I have sold much of my art at conventions and online including originals, built a following on Facebook that I never could have imagined, been published in Art Katalyst Magazine and Resident Rockstar Magazine, and have actually been able to live out a dream in doing what I love to do as my full time job.  I feel extremely lucky to have such loyal followers of the art I do and to be able to reach people in this way.  Without the support I receive from the people who love my artwork there is no way I would be able to draw full time and for that I'm extremely grateful.  I hope in the years to come to keep improving and perhaps one day do realism oil paintings that will be recognized with some of the elite artists in the world.  As many of you know I have a soft spot in my heart for horror and it as subject matter I find great interest in, but I never like to box myself into one specific thing only.  I always like to broaden my scope of what's possible.  I would like to thank those of you who follow my artwork and please contact me at Facebook.com/orcuttsartroom if you ever have any questions for me about art prints or commission drawings, giveaways, and events I will do.  You guys kick ass and make this all possible!  Thank you!

P.S Below are a few pictures of custom commission personal portrait drawings I have done in case you want to use the Contact Link at the top of the page to send me a message about doing a commission for you.  Or you can also reach me at my Etsy shop at Etsy.com/shop/orcuttsartroom
